This Week’s Painted Projects

So this week I finished these chest of drawers which are particularly lovely due to the pretty Andrew Martin wallpaper that lines the drawers which is called Love Letters. What better way to store your delicates and treasures than amongst romantic paper.

I chose Autentico’s Corfu White and Dried Moss for the paintwork, gave it a lightly distressed finish and a coating of wax.

This particular piece is a commission job for a customer who wanted a cupboard for her bathroom. I chose a lovely neutral grey by mixing Annie Sloan’s Old White and Paris Grey together to create a beautiful soft grey. The interior is painted using Autentico’s Ice Cream. Lightly distressed and waxed.

I think it will look super in her country bathroom.

This console table with it’s fabulous curves is to join an Art Deco wardrobe I painted using the same colours and will spend it’s time in a boutique Yorkshire hotel.

The outside paintwork is Autentico’s Belgian Stone and the interior is Annie Sloan’s Primer Red, complimented by amber glass knobs.  Lightly distressed and given a wax finish using both clear and dark wax.

More exciting pieces have arrived today which include a fabulous 3 piece bedroom suite and the cutest chest of drawers!
