Pale pink paint needn’t be confined to the bedroom walls of young girls across the nation, it also looks very cool on living room walls.

Unexpected? Yes but surprisingly grown-up and works with a whole spectrum of colours ranging from your soft greys and rose golds to contrasting colours such as forest green and amber.

It also has the additional benefit of being extremely flattering.

And according to Pantone, Rose Quartz is the hot colour for 2016.

Think I could jump on this trend.
