Latest Painting Project – Marble Washstand.

This lovely oak washstand would look at home in a bathroom, kitchen or hallway.

I chose Nearly Black chalk paint to compliment the grey marble and to ensure the beautiful bright blue tiles popped.

The interior was painted using French Linen chalk paint.

Waxed and gently distressed finish.

Currently for sale – £195.00

Latest Project – Large Oak Coffee Table.

This fabulous oak coffee table has been stripped back to reveal the beautiful wood grain and I then protected the top with clear wax.

A great size on which to display your favourite coffee table books.

Perfect for a country home.

Go graphic this Friday!

New Arrival – Fabulous 1920’s/30’s Walnut Cupboard.

This gorgeous walnut cupboard sang to me from across the room.

It was the shape of the legs and fold out cupboard doors that contrasted with the half circle handles that really caught my eye.

I whisked it off to my antiques restorer who did an amazing job of stripping it back and under his experienced eye he informed me that the piece is extremely well made as it has a solid back, the drawers are mahogany, solid walnut top, sides and shelves.

It’s virtually identical to a Heals piece of furniture but without the makers mark (or price tag!).

A charming piece I think you’ll agree.

Currently for sale – £325.00

Latest Painting Project – Ladies Bureau.

This bureau is the sweetest piece of furniture.

I wanted to choose delicate colours as I envisaged this piece sitting in a bedroom so I chose Linen for the exterior and Duck Egg for the interior.

The whole piece was then painted with a white wash and protected with a coat of clear wax.

I then added a gorgeous new key tassel which compliments both colours perfectly.

Thrilled to bits with the final finish.
