Latest Painting Project – Vintage Pine Wall Cabinet.

Wall cabinets are the secret for anyone searching for extra storage space with limited floor space.

Also they look fabulous too!

This gorgeous vintage pine wall cabinet has the added bonus of two small drawers which could be a lovely place to store keys in a hallway, make up in a bedroom, soap in a bathroom or general paraphernalia in a kitchen.

I chose Earth Stone chalk paint for the exterior (a lovely brown/grey) and Pavot Bleu for the interior ( a deep lavender/blue).

Lightly distressed and waxed finish.

Currently for sale: £295.00

Latest Painting Project.

I have a new colour crush – Autentico’s Elephant Grey.

Compliments brass handles beautifully, works with a number of colour palettes including pale pinks, lilacs, greys, neutrals amongst others.

This gorgeous bow chest of drawers has now sold but I have another smaller bow chest with ornate brass handles ready to paint and I think I’m going to choose the same colour as I have some fabulous nude/pink cushions coming into stock soon with gold embroidery that will look amazing with this colour.

Pics to follow.

Latest Painted Furniture Projects

Another well overdue post on my latest painting projects.

I thought this beautiful display cabinet would look fabulous in either a kitchen or bedroom as it is such a great size.

I painted the wood using Autentico’s Silver chalk paint and lined the interior and shelves with Emma Bridgewater’s Plum LOVE fabric.

Finally given a waxed and lightly distressed finish.

Staying with the Emma Bridgewater LOVE theme, I bought this sweet vintage chair and had it re-upholstered in the red LOVE fabric.

Double piped, button back detail and turned legs.

A real focal point for any room.

Another sweet vintage chair I bought is this gorgeous tub chair, perfect for a nursery or playroom or child’s bedroom.

I re-upholstered it in this gorgeous bunnies linen fabric.

I couldn’t resist using one of my favourite fabrics on this fabulous headboard; Emily Bond’s Rabbits and Hares.

Needless to say it didn’t hang around for long and was bought by a very happy customer for her very happy daughter.

More headboards to come…

This Annie Sloan chalk paint in Paloma is a lovely subtle lavender/pink colour.

It really brings these vintage chest of drawers to life.

A couple of commission pieces I really enjoyed doing:

This beautiful chair I painted using Farrow & Ball’s Drawing Room Blue.

A gorgeous vibrant blue that I will definitely use again.

Here is a before and after shot of a tall corner cabinet.

Painted using a grey/beige chalk paint for the exterior and a soft duck egg for the interior.

I chose Autentico’s Belgian Stone paint for these elegant chest of drawers.

A subtle grey/green colour that suits most colour schemes.

Waxed and distressed finish.
